| With natural ventilation, the circulation of air is controlled by an air inlet aperture A in and an air outlet aperture A out in the side walls of the installation room. Heat is exchanged by the natural circulation of air only, since hot air rises. For adequate ventilation to be provided, the air inlet aperture must be located as far as possible below the air outlet aperture.
Experience shows that this method of ventilation is only suitable for compressors with ratings of up to 22 kW. Even smaller compressors can have ventilation problems, depending on the conditions in the installation room. |
